Getting Older and Cuter

Little sweeties.  Amelia is a spitfire who doesn't walk anywhere - she runs.  Exhausting cute child.  Favorite words are UhOh and Hi!.  She is learning please. 

Adrienne has started preschool.  She learns so much everyday.  It is amazing.  It has introduced a new and voracious interest in fashion.  Specifically fashion forward twirly skirts.  She comes up with some interesting outfits!

Snow Day

Alot of SNOW.  Almost too much to play well in back yard.  Lots of falls from amelia.  As soon as we got the sled out she was pretty happy. Adrienne enjoyed making our newest Patriots fan with me!  He was pretty cute but later in the day we had ice rain on top of our 3 feet of snow and his head fell off.  Oh well.

Santa

  HMM!  A picture says a thousand words huh?  Is it terrible that I love this custom of torturing my children with Santa?  Adrienne wants horsies - she likes horses right now.  Amelia wants to be away from Santa. 

So I have been talking so much about how spicy Amelia is lately and boom - she is turning into such a little cuddly cutie.  Man is she cute.  She still goes after her sister.  Adrienne is not a fan.  Amelia loves to dance.  I need to get a video of it as it is ridiculously cute!  she kind of bends over at her side and shakes her head to the beat - large smile on her face.  Amelia, like her sister, is not a talker.  Apparently they like to wait awhile before they say much more than "HI!" and "BYE" and the occasional mama and dada.  Adrienne says the cutest things.  Well I think they are cute.  The other day she wanted to change Cinderella's dress - instead of ball gown she says baseball outfit.  I love the mixing up of words.  When you ask Adrienne to do somthing she says "Sure"  - comes out soor.  She is learning how to manipulate (oh joy)  When we are done reading the stories she picks out at night she infoms us that those were bad stories and she needs a different one.  She is using this tactic with food and drink as well.  Super fun.

Moving to Winter

So it is really wintery!  Which means we are inside a lot more.  It is hard to keep these two kids occupied.  So we play with bags on our heads.  Seems weirdly fun.  There are lots of cute things going on.  And some not so cute.  Amelia will not have any trouble sticking up for herself!  In fact I am kind of worried that she might bulldoze over Adrienne.  It is great to see them play together but when things go south it is usually Amelia with the upper hand.  I think one day we had to stop her from strangling Adrienne with the necklace she was wearing.  Lots of action around here.  Adrienne continues to grow.  She is so empathetic and sweet.  She tries to be quiet when Amelia is sleeping - she decided she can't flush the toliet when her sister is sleeping because it might wake her up.  Even though it is on a different floor.
