Happy Birthday Sweet Two Year Old

This has been quite the year.  You amaze me at every turn.  You have so much to say.  For a while when you weren't able to communicate very well you could see and feel the frustration.  Now you can make yourself understood without as much hitting, kicking and biting (thank goodness)  Your favorite things to say - "I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!",  I wuv u, I DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Puzzle...???  You love puzzles and putting things together.  IF you don't figure it out quick enough then you get a little surley but you are so quick.  You can play with your blocks for hours.  So focused.  Can't wait to see what this next year brings us/.

Lake Tahoe

First night lots of stories.  Everyone was so nice to read to both Adrienne and Amelia (when she would sit down long enough.)  We arrived around noon to our condo and promptly went for a walk on the beach and had some lunch on a pier.  We also had a number of the most expensive Coronas I have ever come in contact with!

Beach!  This is the first contact Adrienne and Amelia have had with sand other than a sandbox or the dirt next to Hauser Lake.  They loved it.  Amelia made sure to take the sand in with all of her senses. Including taste!

 Got my Bob!  Someone really likes her grandpa. 

 Got my Mimi!  Adrienne followed Mimi around everywhere. 


 The swimming pool was a hit - it was really nice to see both Adrienne and Amelia so brave in the water.  We went to the pool everyday for some fun in the sun right next to the lake. 

 Bob and Mimi are in that balloon!  We watched Bob and Mimi float over the lake from the beach.  Pretty neat sight. 

 Fun cruise around the lake.  Mimi was sick and the rest of us (except Andrea, Adrienne and Amelia) had a few too many Bloody Mary's on the last day.

Summertime

We have been having a lot of fun this summer!  Someone (Adrienne) learned how to pump and ride a bike with training wheels!  Someone (Amelia) is not far behind - she wants to do everything adrienne does thank you very much!  Amelia is talking up a storm.  She gets pretty mad if you don't understand her!

This is the one non-blurry picture of Amelia - she is too quick!  Lots of play time for these girls now.  It is really cute to see their interaction with each other.  Well sometimes.  Alot of the time their interaction is Amelia beating her sister up or Adrienne tattling on whatever Amelia is up to.

Adrienne says her favorite part of the trip is swimming in the hot pool!  Amelia is funny - every time you go to take a picture she yells "cheese" and gives you the biggest goofy smile.
