Adrienne TWO YEARS OLD

Holy cow.  WOW.  Two years old.  You are a sweetie.  When you hear someone coughing you ask if they are ok.  When mommy stubs her toe you pat her on the back with such a look of concern.  You are pretty polite but you are not always the best at sharing.  It took you a long time to learn the word "mine" but when you did holy cow watch out.  You can be somewhat reasonable and share with others but sometimes there is just no way you are going to let someone else touch your stuff.  Including your mama!

Adrienne Twenty- Three months and quite the ham

This is the month I am really starting to notice your sense of humor.  You like to joke and tease and it is really really cute.  You are also really learning to push things to the limit.  Which with your pregnant mama is pretty easy to reach.  I promise to be more patient!  There are many things you are saying now:  Please and thank you (you can be pretty polite!) oatmeal, amelia (which sounds like yumya - i need to get a recording of that!) kitty, NO kitty, stop, etc etc.  I can't believe how much fun you are.

     

Adrienne Month Twenty-two and a trip back East

You continue to amaze.  There are so many new and interesting things you do.  You absolutely love reading stories at night before bed.  You really love people.  You may act shy at first but before long you are all about all about everyone.  You have a lot to say but I am still unclear as to what it is you are saying a lot of the time.  You definitely are an independent sort.  We travelled East again this month for some fun times with the Aiken side of the family.  You like Virginia.  Especially Bob and Mimi (Grammy Tammy and Grandpa)

You had a lot of fun with this pool and all the toys your aunties and great grandma got for you.

Adrienne Month Nineteen and Twenty

Wintertime!!!  OH man is it cold.  We had our first experience with snow this year - or at least first experience as a walker.  I don't think you were ready for the cold!

You can vegg out as good as your mama and papa.

Adrienne Eighteen Months - Football fan and Christmas (not a fan of Santa)

ou are a very good Broncos cheerleader.  We have spent a lot of time with the Coleman's watching football in the basement.  Can't beat it.  You are not a fan of Santa this year.  Last year you just calmly sat on his lap but you were having none of it this year.  You got a really cute rocking horse for Christmas and we had a fun time with aunties and uncles and cousins and grandpa moog on Christmas eve and Christmas day.  We only had the flu twice this month.  UGH!

Adrienne Seventeen Months - Trip to Coer d'alene

We took a little mini vacation to Coer d'alene in November 2009.  You are such a good traveler.  We sure had a lot of fun.  Watching football in the room - looking out at the beautiful scenery - swimming in the hotel pool.  We even made a trip down to Moscow to visit Mama's undergrad university!  Boy has that changed.

Second Halloween = Sweet Ladybug

This Halloween was lots of fun.  Your costume was super cute and you had your first sucker, which you really really liked.  We went trick or treating with Becky and Aubrey (where apparently the best place to get candy is J&J Tire Factory - what a haul!) Then we went to visit Jr.  who was a very cute Dinosaur.

Adrienne Growing and Walking - 12- 15 Months

Adrienne is accomplishing so much. Adrienne gets around like no one's business. She knows some sign language: water, food, kisses, and sometimes please. She loves to clap to "When your happy and you know it" and "Patty Cake". Her favorite play time is to wrestle with mommy and daddy on the bed and give zerberts. I think that her open mouth sloppy kisses are the best thing ever created. (Amy would be so proud of all my superlatives!)

Walking at 15 months!  I didn't really think she would and then she just took off.  Watch out world - here we come!

Adrienne One YEAR OLD

Adrienne is a cute one year old.  She had a big party and wore a beautiful party dress that her Grandma got for her.  Adrienne loves balloons.  That was probably her favorite birthday present of all.

Adrienne Month Ten

Such a sweetie! Adrienne learned to dance when we went back east to visit the family. Her Aunt Renee gave her a Nemo book that plays music and she sways to the beat. Now when she hears unusual sounds she thinks it is music and starts swaying. Adrienne loves giving kisses and tries to give zerberts. She will open her mouth and put it on your cheek and make blowing noises. It makes me roll with laughter which of course gets her going and pretty soon we are all laughing. Adrienne once again proved to be a world class travel baby. We had less than ideal conditions and only had one minor breakdown on the plane. Mother's day was so sweet. My first mother's day with a baby on the outside of my body and it was a dream.

Adrienne Month Nine

WOW - This kid is growing up so fast. It is crazy. Last month she refused to sit. Luckily she is back to thinking it is ok again and I am not constantly looking for pillows to prop behind her incase she decides to throw herself back. She started off rolling everywhere and now has a strange jerking army crawl going on. She gets around pretty good. She is really good at waving - but only at herself. Adrienne has two bottom teeth and two top teeth are just starting to poke through. If Adrienne wants something there is no way you don't know it. Adrienne had her first (and hopefully last) double ear infection this month. It was TERRIBLE. I can't wait to see what the next month brings us.

Adrienne Month Eight

Holy Cow - this kid is HILARIOUS! She has been trucking right along developing away. She sits up - or she used to until she decided she didn't think she liked it anymore - now she locks up her knees when you go to sit her on the floor and refuses - she wants to stand thank you very MUCH!) She rolls everywhere. She gets around pretty good and you can tell she is very close to crawling. Adrienne has two new teeth. Those teeth hurt alot and she has been pretty crabby. We are not looking forward to the growth of more teeth. Adrienne has been in swim lessons this past month. She loves loves loves the pool. The instructor tries to show her how to blow bubbles but Adrienne prefers to drink the pool water - YUCK - YMCA water is not for drinking. Jon and I are pretty excited about what this upcoming month is going to bring.
